The Sandvik MH series hard rock road header is an electrically driven, tracked, heavy-duty road header for roadway and tunneling applications, capable of cutting rock with a compressive strength of over 120 MPa.
The powerful cross-axis cutting head of the Sandvik MH is mounted on a flexible cutting arm and is capable of cutting sections of up to 47 square meters.
The machine offers high cutting speeds and can hollow without moving the tracks so that the substrate is well maintained.
